Peter Barker is a senior finance executive with more than 30 years’ experience with multinational corporations in Australia, Asia, Europe and the USA.
Peter was Chief Financial Officer (CFO) and Company Secretary of ASX listed Cardno Ltd.
Prior to this he was the CFO of Computershare Ltd and before that held senior financial leadership positions with global corporations including BHP and Cisco Systems.
He is skilled in capital raising, treasury, funds management, investor relations and complex commercial negotiation.
Peter is also experienced in leading business process reengineering, governance, acquisitions, project management and systems implementation.
James is a highly experienced CFO with a high level of commercial acumen gained from over 25 years of senior level experience across a broad range of business environments. James has a great passion for working with entrepreneurs, helping them deliver successful business strategies and also (where applicable) achieve social purpose/ charitable ambitions. He is adept at handling the challenges posed by businesses in periods of high transformation . . . whether start-up, scale-up or high growth global businesses, and through turnarounds. James believes keenly in building strong relationships with his teams, his peers, Board members, and with the creative talents that help drive the businesses in which he has worked. James relocated from London to Sydney in 2018.
Anne offers over 25 years of board level experience in global banking, securities trading and superannuation spanning across the Asia-Pacific region. As an experienced Non-Executive Director and Chair of Boards, Anne has provided leadership and expertise in operations, risk management, operating in multiple regulatory environments, global client management and project delivery to guide regulated entities, start-ups, government, and SMEs. She is recognised as international industry leader with deep expertise in operational management of high volume financial transactions in highly regulated and multi-jurisdictional industry. She is a strong leader in multi-cultural workplaces bringing a strong tactical overlay and commercial acumen while encouraging personal integrity.
A purpose-driven leader, Chris brings over 30 years experience in strategy, corporate law, M&A, dispute resolution, risk and governance, offering a deep understanding of, and commitment to, ethical decision-making and positive corporate culture to achieve strategic objectives. Chris is known for his ability to anticipate and understand stakeholder needs – supported by principles-based approach and judgement gained through decades of experience operating as a law-firm partner working in dispute resolution and as GC and trusted advisor to CEOs and Boards in major listed companies and public agencies during periods of evolving commercial and regulatory expectations. A Harvard alumnus, Chris thrives in transformative environments where he can deliver strategic outcomes. He is adept at forging strong relationships and building and motivating high-performing teams.
Paola has provided hands-on leadership support to under-performing businesses for two decades. She guides teams through unfamiliar situations, helps them develop achievable and effective plans and embraces leadership responsibility when executive roles need to be filled. Paola’s professional growth while leading challenging transformation programs rests on solid foundations of personal resilience, humility and creativity in problem solving. She has demonstrated strong leadership skills and has augmented her deep emotional intelligence by studying and applying Enneagram and Coaching techniques. Teams who have worked with Paola recognize her talent for proactively anticipating issues, visioning solutions, building trust and creating a team performance culture.
Blending a broad and diverse professional services career with the depth of delivery experience and as a Finance Director and CFO, Mark understands what it takes to get things done. A strategic solutioner he has a competitive but non-confrontational edge that means people like working for and with him. He has the presence and experience to engage executives on improving business performance. Mark has worked in Europe and Australia across most sectors and industries. He challenges the way services are delivered and draws on, and adapts advisory approaches to bring practical accelerated action with an understanding of the importance of stakeholder and team engagement to drive inclusive, sustainable change from within. Mark blends his passion for innovation with his strength in taking teams on the journey to drive better outcomes and improve performance.
Over the past 20 years, Jo has built a reputation as an experienced leader specialising in law, risk and governance across global listed corporates, consulting and not for profits. Working in senior leadership roles in South Africa, the UK and Australia she has supported leaders to define, design and execute on their risk strategy and transform organisations to embrace change and magnify their impact. Jo brings strategic, future-focussed guidance, coupled with a growth mindset – whether she’s leading in an interim role, coaching behind the scenes, or facilitating a strategy session in the boardroom. Jo is known as a trouble-shooter; managing challenging roles that require complex stakeholder engagement, technical expertise, and leadership experience to deliver for people, profit, and the planet.
Blake is dual qualified finance and legal professional, recognised by colleagues as a trusted partner, advisor and influencer. He is a highly adaptable and widely experienced senior leader with a specific focus on treasury, investor relations, legal and commercial roles. Drawing on broad experience and with a track record of building effective working relationships, he provides a proven capacity to deliver outcomes that support strategic objectives, while effectively managing competing interests and business risk. Previous executive roles include Group Treasurer, Head of Investor Relations, and Blake specialises in supporting CEOs and CFOs with refinancing and capital raisings. He brings practical skills and experience having held executive accountability as a lender, borrower, investor and fundraiser and worked as a professional advisor on both sides of deals
An experienced CFO and board director, Simon leads companies through periods of dynamic transformation powered by operational excellence, accelerated innovation and strategic execution. Known for his collaborative and straight-talking approach, Simon asserts his commercial and technical skill to deliver targeted solutions for clients, navigating them through difficult and challenging circumstances. With an emphasis on practical solutions backed by rapid action, Simon focuses on delivering measurable outcomes. From motivating management and finance teams fatigued by the coinciding and competing requirements of financiers and turnarounds, to facilitating debt and equity transactions, Simon is adept at problem solving on a large corporate scale.
Dan's professional career has seen him undertake CEO, COO, and CFO assignments for ASX listed, large privately-owned corporations, and start-up enterprises.
As a CPA, he commenced his career in commercial organisations that were undergoing significant change as a result of growth. The technical and “hands on” practical experiences gained in these environments instilled an understanding of the critical importance of aligning all business functions.
Dealings with Boards has given Dan an excellent grounding with regards to development of strategy and high performing organisational cultures.
He has sustainably grown businesses within Australia and internationally including Indonesia, PNG, USA and the Pacific.
Stephen has worked with distressed companies and their investors, including many very large and high profile situations across Europe and beyond, for over 35 years After long careers as Partner of well respected professional firms, he now focuses on supporting CEOs, their teams and boards when their organisation is responding to exceptional challenges and setbacks. One of the best known figures in the international restructuring community, he was the founder of Isonomy. There he transformed the turnaround landscape working closely with Governments, International Institutions and Universities to understand real world best practice and develop new legislation. Stephen's expertise includes acquisitions, refinancings, and carveout and sale of loss-making businesses, all at high speed.
