Career History
Having traversed transport, aviation and the chemicals sector in senior HR, Operations and then leading to CEO and Executive Chair roles, Jonathan is uniquely placed to deliver transformational change, having  had extensive experience as both a key advisor and internally as a Senior Executive with final accountability for implementation of major change projects. 

Leadership Highlights

Supported the ambitions of the Chairman, to grow the top line of the Parent company from US$2B, to US$68B, participating in 13 subsequent acquisitions.
 
Oversaw $500+M of capital projects delivered on budget and without IR disputation or SH&E incidents, securing approval for an A$200M expansion.
 
Successfully renegotiated supplier feedstock contracts with BHP/ExxonMobil valued at over A$2 billion, obtaining international government support.
 
Achieved $30/tonne price uplift as result of successfully rebranding Qenos. Enabled Qenos to bypass customers' procurement arm, with an innovative approach.
 
Championed the renewal of the business model in light of the rising energy costs, developing a digital strategy to enable  more customer centric by sourcing.
 
Successfully developed and implemented a $100m Cash Improvement Program which had a 3-year time horizon for completion and was delivered in 18 months. Credibility with staff and unions was a key factor in being able to reduce numbers from 1220 to 700, without disputation.
 
Employed innovative approach of using the “round table” approach to ensure each executive has a whole of business perspective and opportunity for input.
 
Engaged the organisation in developing a compelling strategy, incorporating enviable global stakeholder relationships, which  created a sense of purpose.
