Judith's experience across industries, geographies and cultures is at the foundation of her ability to work with CEOs and executives, helping them navigate a path to desired outcomes. Curiosity and a commitment to learning are what inspired her move from Washington, DC to India and later to Hong Kong, where she leveraged her skills and adaptability to work with market and regional CEOs streamlining talent and operations in her roles as CMO and MD.
She believes that talent and culture go hand-in-hand, and that the best leaders create an environment where new ideas are encouraged, and where goals and desired outcomes are clearly communicated.
Judith is experienced in navigating the challenges of strategic integration across diverse markets and talent pools, having managed teams and led initiatives across eight countries in Asia-Pacific. She approaches every challenge with an open mind and a focused commitment to the task at hand.
Career History
Judith's career began in Washington, DC conducting grassroots advocacy and outreach for a leading automotive trade association, before moving into legislative and political work for a public utility.
She later joined Direct Impact, a wholly owned subsidiary of Burson-Marsteller, where she led business development, and multi-market outreach campaigns before moving New Delhi, India where she led new business and marketing for the firm.
She later moved to Hong Kong, joining Burson-Marsteller where she served as Managing Director for Communications and Operations for APAC. With a broad scope, she was responsible for managing strategic, operational and cultural integration across markets, including talent, client growth, new business development, as well as regional and global initiatives. As a member of the Asia- Pacific leadership team, she led talent initiatives for the region including resource management, and senior level talent retention and recruitment.
Always sought for counsel, Judith has now become a certified organisation coach.
Leadership Highlights
Managed and lead markets during leadership transitions in Singapore and Indonesia, acting as advisor and coach in the absence of a market leaders. Lead recruitment efforts for successful placement of new leadership.
Introduced and implemented a quarterly review system designed to improve and support communications between leadership and their teams across eight markets in Asia-Pacific.
Managed the review and alignment of HR policies and procedure across the region.
Served as APAC lead and point of contact for international initiatives and rollouts including market research, global branding and new business opportunities.
Played a key role in the organisation's exploration and expansion into new markets, building a network of grassroots field teams across Canada and the UK.
