His technology heritage is invaluable in helping organisations understand the commercial value in constant digital transformation to ensure continued relevance and thus growth in an ever changing digital world.

Career History

A country boy, Paul started his career as an accountant working predominantly in the technology sector in Asia Pacific Finance Director roles for multi nationals, including three years working in Hong Kong and China.

Paul was promoted from Finance Director to Managing Director to turnaround a loss making technology managed services company, the Australian subsidiary of a Dutch multi national called Getronics. This turnaround was so successful the company was acquired by a ASX listed technology company UXC Limited.

At UXC Paul was promoted to Chief Operating Offier responsible for the eight business units, before organisational mergers  resulted in the role Global Vice President - Microsoft at DXC Technology, driving the aggressive 345% global growth through acquisitions and growth in each region.

After leaving DXC Paul joined Australian privately owned Davidson Group as CEO for their technology companies, Davidson Technology Consulting and Davidson Technology Recruitment leading three years of growth.

Paul has Board experience as Chairman of NSW Suburban rugby, member of Waratahs Board, member of NSW Rugby Board, member of Finance & Audit committee for Waratahs and NSW Rugby Boards. Member of Advisory Board for Albert Court Aged Care facility in Edgecliff.
Paul is now embarking on a Portfolio career to share his leadership and business experience across numerous organisations.

Leadership Highlights

Setting a clear strategy with a business and cultural transformation program and then collaborating with the leadership team to execute this strategy to ensure the turnaround from an AUD$10m loss making business to AUD$5m profit.

Lead the simplification of eight independent business units with a business and digital transformation with a simplified core IT system platform and associated processes, combined with centralised business functions, which combined generated AUD$10m of annual savings

Growing a global Microsoft business from revenue of usd$110m to USD$500m+ over 3.5years, expanding from 4 countries to 15 countries, and going from 600 people to 3,000 people. This was acheived whilst navigating the matrix leadership of global and regions of a multi national business

Target identification and completion of acquisitions and their successful integrations in Australia, North America, United Kingdom and Nordics over a 3 year period

Successfully growing a privately owned Australian technology group, with revenue doubling and profit tripling over a 3 year period through a clear GTM offering, with quality sales and delivery teams and a razor focus on operational excellence

Led the transformation of a company culture and won a Human Synergistics Culture Transformation Award

Transformed my own leadership and was included in the book, Leadership Transformed - How ordinary managers become extraordinary leaders by Dr Peter Fuda
