Tamsin brings over 15 years experience at the intersection of people, strategy and culture. A trusted advisor, coach and mentor to leadership teams and executives, Tamsin has refined her leadership experience through leading people functions, general management and board-level engagements.

Tamsin thrives on partnering with executive teams to quickly identify and tackle complex problems. She is known for being a highly-skilled communicator who is curious, calm, collaborative and courageous. It is this approach that enables her to uncover and realise individual, team and business performance potential.

Career History

Tamsin's most recent position was Executive General Manager at Private Media, and Publisher of its flagship publication, Crikey. There she led the strategic direction of Australia’s most renowned independent digital media company. Prior to that, Tamsin led the people and culture function of top-tier law firm, King and Wood Mallesons. This combination presents a powerful consulting perspective that straddles strategy, operations and people.

In early 2020, Tamsin shifted focus to building her own consulting practice - partnering with leaders to tackle their most complex and interesting challenges

Leadership Highlights

Established and incorporated an investigative journalism arm into a leading independent media business, including securing and managing investors. This involved establishing new brand, key people, comms, end to end digital product management and marketing which resulted in significant increase in revenue.

Led holistic business transformation, including operating model, processes, systems, people and leadership, resulting in business turnaround.

Invited to contribute to the 2019 Australian Senate inquiry into digital platforms, including in person presentation to the Senate committee.

Developed and delivered a comprehensive feasibility study to take a new media product to market. This included operations and financial modelling, end to end product management, competitor and audience research, go to market planning, board engagement and approval.

Invited speaker and chair at a range of international media and publishing conferences.

Trusted advisor, coach and mentor to managing partners of top-tier law firm, high-net worth individuals, boards and investors.

Established and appointed as inaugural president of HR Minds – a leading HR association for the legal industry, which is operating a decade later.
